Trip to Idaho

We went up to Idaho last weekend to visit Bart's parents. We got to go on the farm and help Grandma P. plow the field. Kade was a little unsure at first, but then liked to drive the tractor with Grandma. He loved being in the country and couldn't get enough rides on the 4-wheeler with Grandma. He also had fun seeing the horses and pigs!




I just love this picture of Kade. He kept running around the farm and this is the only one that ended up not blurry. What a cute kid!

Our little man is finally walking. He goes so fast that it's hard for me to take a picture! He's always on the move!

Kade and Easter

Kade had a great Easter. He liked to open the plastic eggs and see what was inside. His favorite thing was a little set of different type of balls...basketball, soccer ball, baseball, and football. He loves saying baw...(meaning ball). Now anything that he sees that is round is a baw!

Vacation to San Diego

We had free airplane tickets so we decided to travel to San Diego with our good friends, the Ellis family. Kade got sick, so he was cranky most of the time. Bart keeps reminding me that we are not taking Kade on an airplane until he is 4 or 5. Kade is a busy body and doesn't like to sit still or sit on our laps, which makes the plane ride so fun! We did manage to have a fun time as we visited a few sites and enjoyed eating at some fun places.

At La Jolla Beach. Kade thought the sand was fun and liked getting his toes wet.

At the Mormon Battalion. Kade enjoyed the little activities they had outside as well as the interactive video tour.

The Boys in Ties

We bought Kade his first tie to wear to church. He kept pulling at it and didn't like it on at all. Bart thinks that I'm trying to torture our poor boy at such an early age. I was able to snap this picture of the two boys. They sure looked handsome!

Kade's 1st Birthday

Kade got to celebrate his first birthday twice....once in Omaha and the other at home. He even got 2 cakes. You think that he might want to eat the cake, but he didn't even want to taste them.

Aunt Ashley made this professional cake in Omaha. It was so cute!

First snowmobile ride

We took Kade out a couple weeks ago so Bart could tinker with the snowmobiles. Kade had fun on the snowmobile. He started crying after because he didn't want to get off. He liked to watch the snowmobilers and say "room...room".

Kade's First Christmas

Kade had a great time up in Idaho for Christmas. He didn't know how to get the wrapping paper off, but liked what he saw as soon as the paper was off. Here is Kade driving the tractor...since his Dad was raised on a farm, Kade had to have a tractor.
